8 Things Popular Beliefs You Shouldn’t Lend and Why They’re Linked to Personal Energy and Prosperity.
There are decisions that seem insignificant, almost harmless, but which, over time, become silent cracks through which peace, order, and stability escape from our lives. Many believe that financial or emotional problems arise out of nowhere, but the reality is quite different: they almost always begin when we stop setting boundaries.

Being generous is not the same as being naive. And understanding this difference can completely change your destiny.

In several of his reflections, Yokoi Kenji explains that order is not coldness, but a form of respect for life. Where there is order, there is clarity. And where there is clarity, there is prosperity.

Here are eight things you should never lend, not out of selfishness, but out of wisdom.

1. Never lend your peace.
Many people don’t steal your money, but they steal your peace of mind. They drag you into their conflicts, their emotional turmoil, their endless drama. You start to sleep poorly, overthink, and live in constant stress.

When serenity is disrupted, performance declines, decisions become more difficult, and your finances suffer. Preserving serenity is not a lack of sensitivity; it’s protecting your mental and emotional well-being.

2. Never lend your time.
Money can be recovered, but time cannot. Some people aren’t looking for help; they’re simply looking to keep you busy. Five minutes can turn into hours, and hours into years of living someone else’s life.
Poor time management is one of the most common causes of personal and financial stagnation.

3. Never listen indiscriminately.
Listening isn’t inherently bad, but becoming an emotional outlet for it is. Some people only talk to you to complain, play the victim, and vent their frustrations. This constant emotional pollution damages your personality, your outlook on life, and leads you to make poor decisions.
