How your sleeping position reveals if you’re lazy

“I don’t just want company,” she said. “I want… a privilege.”

Caroline set boundaries. Daniel smiled coldly.

—The limits are negotiable.

Caroline stood up.

—I don’t accept them.

He let out a little laugh.

—Are you sure? I’ve looked everywhere for you. “Sexy Gran” is famous.

That night the first anonymous message arrived: an old photo of Caroline leaving church, captioned, “Think you can hide much longer?” Fear gripped her. Someone wanted to expose her. Someone wanted to destroy her.

Caroline shuddered.

He mocked her, reminding her of her “image” as a religious woman, the scandal it would cause. Caroline looked him in the eye and, for the first time, her fear transformed into righteous indignation.

“You’re wrong,” he said. “I’ve already wasted too many years living a miserable life to maintain that image.”

The blackmailer was furious and threatened to publish everything the next day. He left.
